About Eddie
Eddie was found wandering the bush lands in Baranduda. He was handed into the vet clinic as a stray where I was able to get in touch with his owner. Eddie had been missing for a couple of days and had infected paws, bad skin and on the slimmer side. His owner had agreed to surrender him as he loves to be with people and other dogs and he went looking for her and got lost along the way.
Eddie is a purebred English Pointer and at only 1.6yrs old he is still very much a puppy. Eddie loves to run, swim, fetch, but he is more than happy to relax at your feet (or on your couch). He is toilet trained and very gentle with food, people and other dogs. He is great with small children and cats. Eddie does not have a mean bone in his body. Ed knows how to sit, shake hands, drop and stay/wait.
Eddie needs to be in a secure large yard, not on a farm or he will wander off to find more friends. Eddie does need a medium amount of exercise, and is great to walk on the lead. His diet/food regime needs to be a good quality food or he will lose weight again.
Despite his breed being used for hunting, Eddie is no hunting dog. Loud noises scare him so he does like to come inside when a thunder storm is on or fireworks.
Eddie must go to a home with another dog for company as he will try and escape if left alone.
This dog has touched my heart as I have put so much effort into getting him to put some weight on. He is a special boy and will only go to the right home.
He really is an amazing dog and I’m very sad to be letting him go from my family as he just fits in so well.
If you think that you can love Eddie as much as I do, have the time to spend with him, feed him good quality food, take him on trips away, and have another doggy friend and take him for long walks then please contact us.
Please be aware that we will be requesting that Eddie stays close to our local area due to his ongoing weight monitoring and support.
