About Wake
Wake is such an adorable young man with a smooshable face!! He is sweet, friendly, funny and cute... just an all round loveable boy. Great with other dogs, he loves to play and will run and chase them or be chased, he doesn’t mind either way, as long as he’s playing. He’s so funny, he chases his foster brothers and sisters and because he’s faster and more agile, will whip around and nip their tail to get them moving again!!
In saying that, he’s not ‘in your face’ at all and is just as happy to chew his toys quietly on a mat or gently try and tease you with his toys to get you to play tug-o-war with him and or throw the toy for him to fetch. He’s a reasonably chilled out dog for a puppy and will spend many hours sleeping away the day.
Wakey is house trained, knows sit, shake hands and drop and will wait for his dinner. He’s good on the tooth and always seems hungry!! He’s quite smart and easy to train, especially if there’s treats involved. He will need lead work as he’s only ok on leash, he’s too busy walking all over the place and wrapping the lead around your legs.
He’s great left alone inside the house (with other dogs) and has not ever chewed or destroyed anything... although has a penchant for paper if allowed. He sleeps beautifully at night on his bed too and is a good little alert dog already and will growl and bark at any strange noises outside.
Wakey’s not a fan of lawnmowers or motorbikes and really loud inner city noises... he'll need a quieter rural or suburban life. Funnily enough, he's perfectly relaxed with thunderstorms and fireworks. He’s also not a huge fan of the car and can get motion sick if he’s eaten beforehand. Once he’s in the car, he’s quite good and will lay down without too much fuss. I think he’s still a little scared of the car, so someone that can help him have lots of positive experiences in the car would be good.
He’s been a really good boy every day and seriously hasn’t been naughty at all. He loves his people, so will follow your every move and go wherever you go. Cuddles are a must and he loves hopping up on the lounge for some serious cuddle time.
Wake is a low to medium energy boy. He does feel the heat, so would always need plenty of shade and cool places to lay. He would do well with other dogs to play with and lots of people time too. Whilst he hasn’t met any cats, I think he would be okay with them once introduced well.
Wake is not available for interstate adoption.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
