About Rocky (On Trial 13/1/14)
Rocky is a 2 yo Mini Foxy x Jack Russell Terrier looking for his forever family. \ He is incredibly affectionate and snuggly and a pleasure to have around. He is gentle with young children and loves older kids too.
Rocky is currently living with other dogs, and though he enjoys their company he would probably prefer to be an only dog and be someone's most loyal and devoted friend. Rocky enjoys going for a walk every day. He is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. We have begun housetraining and he is picking this up quickly. He will need to be in a home without cats
Rocky hasn't had much socialisation in his short life so new experiences can overwhelm him, this is why he needs somebody who has the patience to work through his little anxieties and continue with his training. He is a smart little guy, and even appears to try to talk sometimes, it's so adorable!
A stunningly cute little fellow, rocky will make a perfect family pet or companion for someone who is will be gentle with him and help him build his confidence. You will be rewarded with a little guy who has the heart of a lion and lots of sloppy kisses.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
