About Shift
If his sweet face and huge paws don't win you over, his affectionate cuddly nature surely will. At just over 10 months, Shift is already a big boy but close to being fully grown. He lollops around like the big puppy he is and loves nothing more than to play...bitey face, zoomies, fetch, chasies, he loves them all. Shift has already proven he's a quick learner. He's picked up basic training super quickly (sit, come, stay, heel) and is fantastic on the lead (only occasionally distracted by dem birds!). He is also great in the car and sleeps beautifully during the night.
While initially very timid with new people, and a little defensive if threatened, Shift has quickly gained confidence and now his gorgeous personality is shining through and honestly, what a personality that is. He is one of the sweetest, most beautiful natured dogs I've met. Once comfortable he will give you kisses and hugs and loves to lean on you too! He adores water (especially those amazing sprinkler things!) and he'd love a home with another dog (especially one he can play with) and is fine with cats.
Shift is fully house trained, and generally easy to have around although some puppy naughtiness is still there (minor sock theft, major doormat chewing). Due to his size and the fact he's still young he does need very firm and clear boundaries, and he will test them out! But he really is one in a million and will make a wonderful addition to any family. He LOVES kids (he just needs to learn to stop jumping up on them!) and his snuggles just can't be beat.
Due to his shyness with new people, another confident dog at home would be a great match for him, as would a family that will continue his socialisation and help him continue to grow his confidence.
Shift is not available for interstate adoption.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
