About Rhea
Rhea arrived early in 2013, near Easter, with three kittens who were very young. She was found on someone’s property out of town. She was too friendly to be considered wild although her babies were not sure and even today they will at times hesitate when you pick them up. They are all now friendly. Rhea keeps to herself a lot now but would come out of shell once she got to know you. She is quiet and gentle but can stand up for herself if required. She would be better in a semi adult household rather than one that has small kids. She has been de-sexed immunised and ready for her new home.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
