About Buster (On Trial 2/2/14)
G’day I’m Buster, a 3 yo, male, mastiff cross, I’ve had a bit of a rough start with my life, but that’s okay I haven’t let it bother me. I am a very pleasant and kind natured boy. I am able to sit on command, shakes hands (both left and right) I think you call the ambidextrous, and have the ability to learn anything you want to teach me.
The mastiff part of me makes me a gentle and loving but sometimes stubborn. Being close to you makes me happy and I quite enjoy sleeping on the floor at the end of my carers’ bed.
I would need a yard that has high fences I as I enjoy exercising my legs with a bit of jumping. While I may be a larger dog I was actually scared of my carers’ one year old cat at first, but I do get along with both dogs and cats.
My breed is one of a lover and not a fighter, and I will instinctively protect my family, reading peoples body language telling me if they are friend or foe.
What I would like from my new family is one that will make me part of their family, and not just leave me outside to protect the property, because that’s not my breed I will protect you but I not fussed with protecting my property.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
