About Hurley *On Trial in His New Home*
*HURLEY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Looking for a loving little dog who’s great with kids and is happy to play, play, play or is just as content enjoying being by your side, lapping up attention? Then you can’t go past Hurley with the rather cute freckle face and soft floppy ears! He’s looking for a forever home after misplacing his old one – will it be with you???
Recently rescued from Robinvale pound we’re surprised that such a fantastic little dog wasn’t collected by his owner. Adorable Hurley is friendly and affectionate without being yappy or ‘in your face’ and has settled in well into foster care where he’s enjoying spending time with his carer’s 3 school age children (the youngest being 6) and is happy hanging out with their own dog too. He’s fine with the household cats, is not at all fazed by the chooks or even their pet pig who thinks he’s a dog anyway! He’s such a sweet-natured, gentle little fella; it’s sometimes hard to believe he’s still a pup at only 10 months of age. Although pick up a squeaky toy (his fave!) and then you’ll see his playful, silly side shine through!! And Hurley also loves chasing a tennis ball even though he doesn’t always bring it back to you!

While in care this happy-go-lucky dog has learnt “sit” and even though he does jump up a bit during play time the majority of the time he’s a fairly cool, calm character. Hurley walks well on a lead (he wears a harness) and enjoys getting out and about especially when it involves going places in the car. He has a lovely soft coat which will only need the occasional bath to keep it looking good and he LOVES water which makes bathtime easy! He thrives on human companionship and loves to cuddle up with you especially at night while you watch tv.
As Hurley is already housetrained (he’s only had a couple of ‘accidents’ while learning the households routine) he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a friendly doggie companion or on his own, but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time as he is used to having company so long hours by himself in a backyard would not suit him at all – he’s a social little dog!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
