Rebel

Rebel is a very friendly active girl that is looking for a loving home. If you are a first time dog owner then unfortunately Rebel is not the one for you. We recommend Rebels new owners have breed experience with American Staffies or a similar breed. She will do best in a home with an active family who will exercise her daily as she is an active dog with energy to burn. She will require at least one long daily walk or run as well as interactive playtime. She knows how to sit but will need ongoing obedience training to keep her manners in check and help her learn more. Rebel is very food motivated so she will respond well to positive reinforcement training. She does jump up a little so must meet all members of her new family at the shelter before they can go home together. Ask our staff about her training here at the shelter. Rebel has met plenty of dogs at the shelter and has friends she plays with but can but quite rough. She will need to meet any new doggies family member here at the shelter before going home together just to be sure they all get along well. Rebel has a lovely nature and would enjoy a life where she is included as part of the family & in daily activities. Dogs are social animals and as long as she is exercised daily and receives mental stimulation then she loves just lounging about with you. She seems to be ok with small animals like cats rabbits and chickens but she must be supervised around them at all times.Her yard must have secure 5ft fencing with no holes or gaps to keep her safe for the times she is outside. MUST HAVE DOG INTRO AT SHELTEROK WITH CATS & POCKET PETSBREED EXPERIENCE WITH STAFFYS OR SIMILAR BREEDNEEDS TO MEET ALL FAMILY MEMBERS AT SHELTER
