About Boss
Boss is a big boy full of love. He isnt very interested in playing with toys he would much rather run around with you! His long legs make him look very funny when he runs laps around his enclosure & when he is really happy he will lick you with his huge tongue. Boss sometimes cant contain his excitement he often jumps on people to say hello. It would be best if he goes home with children who are confident with large dogs. During his stay at the shelter Boss has been playing with some dogs he is very boisterous and enjoys jumping all over his playmates. If you have another dog and would like to adopt Boss you will need to bring them in to make sure they can be great friends as not all dogs enjoy boisterous play.Walking on lead is very exciting Boss pulls to make sure he gets to his destination as fast as he can but with regular exercise and some training he will become easier to walk. If you would like any tips on how to control him while walking feel free to ask the friendly staff at RSPCA.Cats and pocket pets can be a little scary to Boss so if he goes to a home with them he will need to be introduced to them slowly and they must be supervised at all times as he might decide they are fun to chase. It is important that all animals have a secure place they can hide when they feel threatened. Boss needs to go to a home with secure 5ft fences with no gaps he can squeeze out of. It is also important that he always has access to clean water. Shelter must be provided in case the weather changes unexpectedly and you are unable to get him inside. If you would like to meet the lovable Boss please come into the Hunter RSPCA and say hello.
