Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Shae
Hi, I'm Shae and I'm a quiet little girl with a cheeky streak, who loves cuddles and naps. My foster mama calls me Little Miss Shy and Sweet - I'm a bit more sensitive and submissive than my rowdy brothers and sisters, but make no mistake - I can still hold my own in a play fight!
MY IDEAL HOME
My ideal home is one with other pets or people to keep me company most of the time as I get a little bit scared when I'm left alone. I'd also be super excited to have a backyard to run around and play in - especially as I get bigger.
MY ENERGY LEVELS
I've got heaps of energy to run around and rearrange your kitchen mats for you! If you want to have a nap or watch some TV though, I'm cool with that too and I'll cuddle up on the lounge with you.
SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN AND OTHER CHILDREN
I would love to go to a home with children - though preferably ones over 8 years of age. While I'm still a puppy and still love to play, I would need family members who are all capable of taking good care of me.
My foster mama has a grumpy old Corgi and an energetic Spitz x Cocker Spaniel. I like them both, but I'm more drawn to the grumpy Corgi for some weird reason. Probably because he's more quiet like me. If you have other pets already I'd love to meet them and see if we can be friends.
I haven't met any cats yet, but I know there's one who lives next door to us because I can hear her sometimes at night and it sounds funny. If you have a cat, I'd very much like to meet this strange sounding creature to see how we get along.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
