Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Amity
Amity has proven herself to be a curious, fun loving and affectionate puppy.
She loves time with both humans and other animals, and enjoys watching the household cat but is intimidated by his glowering stare. Jayda also enjoys playing with her foster family's Staffy, Dyson, and her sister Amity.
This gorgeous girl enjoys her food and isn't fussy enjoying meat, bones and kibble. Her favourite toys apart from her sister are a pilfered cat mouse and a blue Tamagotchi plush toy!!
MY IDEAL HOME
I would enjoy an active family that loves having fun!! I can play fetch although I sometimes get over excited and forget to bring the ball (or other toy) back. I'm quite gentle so would suit some younger children ( 4 years and above). I would enjoy more training as I enjoy making you happy.
MY ENERGY LEVELS
My energy levels at the moment go from very active at playtimes to potential lapdog/ foot warmer when I'm finished my playtime!! At playtimes I run around and can be a little mischievous but once I've had enough I enjoy a quiet place to sleep.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN AND OTHER ANIMALS
I enjoy spending time with the younger people in my foster family... They give me pats and sometimes treats. I have also spent time with other members of their pack including a 4 year old. I'm mostly calm with them and enjoy the attention they all lavish on me.
My foster family has 2 cats and a dog. The dog is a Staffy and I enjoy spending short periods of time with him. As I get bigger, I'll be spending more time with him, at the moment he's a bit rough and my foster Mum is worried he'll accidentally hurt me. I'm curious about the cats but they won't let me near them. One of them stares at me until I retreat!
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
