Mika is on hold pending adoption.

Mika is a loving and affectionate female German Shepherd blend who has seen the harsh side of life, left for dead and used for breeding this sweet natured dog nearly died of starvation.

Found wandering after the storms she was collected by the local Rangers and brought into care. Barely able to walk and stand they fed her two meals a day and wormed her. She was put up for adoption and being so thin no one considered her until now. Mika was taken into care by Pauline and is now in a foster home at Kurri Kurri and has been flea treated, groomed, desexed and now on two good meals a day and putting on weight.

If you are looking for a gentle dog who is social with her fellow rescue dogs and very easy to manage then please consider Mika.

Now because she has been through so much in her short life we want a loving home for this girl with a family who will ensure she is allowed inside and has a doona bed and a full tummy.
