Iza (awaiting payment from foster carer)

Introducing Iza, an 18 month old female Great Dane cross. She is a very sweet, very smart, gentle giant. She is a very smart and well behaved girl. She sit, shakes, comes and will not eat until you say the command Right-o. She is housetrained, walks well on a lead.

She has no interests in cats and small animals so she can be housed with these animals with supervision.

When meeting other dogs she ignores them and pays attention to her handler so would be suited as an only dog or would be happy to have another quiet dog as a companion.

Iza can be a little unsure of new people and is also unsure of being touched by anyone she doesn’t know. After you spend some time with her and feed her treats she will allow you to touch her. Her new family will need to be patient and never push her or touch her when she is uncomfortable but allow Iza to approach you and seek the pats or comfort from you until her confidence increases.

Iza will need some time to build her confidence and trust with people. She is a great dog and will settle in well with an owner who has the patience and passion to see her become a happy confident dog.
