About Chloe *On Trial in Her New Home*
*CHLOE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Are you looking for an instant doggie family with a bit of a “ying/yang” feel? Then you can’t go past these lovely sisters – playful Chloe with her long hair and snugly Ebony who’s the smooth-coated version! They go together like peas in a pod and have never been apart; they play together, eat together and sleep together at night, they were even surrendered to our local pound together which is how they’ve ended up in our care. We’re after a loving home where they can be together forever; will it be with you?
Stunning Chloe looks like a miniature Border Collie though weighing in at only 7.2kgs our vets have decided she’s a Terrier cross. Both pups were very scared of the world (especially people) when we first came across them in the pound and we made the mistake of putting them into separate foster homes which is when we realised their bond is so strong that finding them a home together is the only option.
While in foster care the girls have learnt to trust humans again although Chloe is the shyer of the two when it comes to meeting new people and takes a while to warm up but once she gets to know you she just adores attention. These days Chloe is the first one to greet her foster carers when they arrive home and she takes more of a boss role with Ebony. Chloe enjoys a play with her sister and also loves playing with toys and she likes to splash around in a shell pool on warm days. Chloe can be frightened by boisterous toddlers but has met school aged children without any problems. \
Here’s some video of Chloe and Ebony so you can check out their size: http://youtu.be/TVB9rODCsyo
Their foster parents agree that Chloe and Ebony have been wonderful to foster and they’ve enjoyed helping them grow into more confident dogs. Both dogs get along well with their carers other friendly dogs, are terrific with the household cats and aren’t bothered by their chooks which are kept in a pen. While in care Chloe and Ebony have learnt to sit for treats and they’ve both been trained to sleep together in a crate at night. \ They haven’t spent much time on a lead though we’re sure with practice they’ll get the hang of it. As the girls are going really well with their toilet-training and love a cuddle on the couch at night we’d love to see them in an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in their forever home. Secure fences, daily walks, chicken necks to chew on (their faves) and toys to keep them stimulated are a must so they don’t get bored and up to mischief!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
