Douglas

Douglas is so full of Love that he cannot wait to shower you with it. This boy will make for a wonderful companion dog as he is so attentive to his humans and wants to share every moment with them. There will be non stop cuddles and affection from this boy.

Due to no fault of his own he was abandoned by his owners and has been locked up in a boarding kennel for 18months.You would think this dog would have gone insane but he has adjusted perfectly to being an inside dog and is now very keen to find a family to take care of him.

He has a bright and bubbly personality, is full of fun and loves to play any game that is on offer. He is great with other dogs and very social, loving to say hello to any dog he meets both big or small. He would be suitable as either an only dog or as a second dog. He is also Cat friendly

He is toilet trained and very well behaved inside. He does not bark excessively, dig or chew the furniture. He travels well in the car, is good at the Vets and good to groom. He has a pretty White and Tan coat that does not shed hair which is suitable for people with allergies. He bonds quickly to both men and woman and is happy to greet strangers with his tail wagging.

Douglas is an active boy who loves to have a good run around. He likes a swim and is the sort of dog you could take anywhere, to the beach, cafe or a friends house as he is very relaxed and adjusts well to new environments.

He is looking for the following in his new home:
A family who want a close companion dog and have loads of time for walks, fun and cuddling.
To live as an inside dog and allowed up on the lounge for cuddling
To be taken to the grooming salon for a clip every 8 weeks for his entire life(these long haired dogs end up in terrible pain and discomfort if not clipped regularly)
Taken for a daily walk of at least 30 minutes or more.

This is an awesome dog who will make someone very happy. If you are looking for a special fury kid that you can really bond closely with, Douglas is perfect. If there was a cuddling competition for dogs, he would win!!! He was still available for adoption on 17th December.
