About Timmy
Timmy is special little man who was rescued earlier this year from a house where he was living in a room with 31 other dogs. He has come a long way since that time but still needs patience, compassion and understanding.
He does have anxiety when it comes to meeting new people and is therefore wary of them but once he gets to know you and his new environment he will play and be your little shadow.
He does prefer females to males (he will tolerate them once he has established himself with people in the house) We think this timidness stems from his previous life.
He is good with other dogs (his foster family consisted of 2 Border Collies and Norwegian Elk Hound). He has also been around cats and was fine with them too
We think he would be best suited to a home with another dog to keep him company when his humans are not around.
He has spent limited time with children who are mature, we would not recommend him for young children as sudden movements can scare him.
He will walk on lead and once you have a bond with him he is good off lead too
He loves to be on the couch and on the bed with his chosen person and loves morning cuddles
He has come along way and needs a special forever family that will understand him
Medical notes
Does have some anxiety issues.
Adoption details
After seeing an animal you are interested in we ask you to fill out an adoption expression of interest form which tells us a bit about you, your lifestyle and any previous pets. A meet and greet is then organised for you to meet your prospective new furry friend and if all goes ok, you are then able to adopt your new furry housemate.
