About Fletcher *On Trial in His New Home*
*FLETCHER IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES PLEASE* Feisty Fletcher is a healthy, happy puppy who was born on the 13th of July, this year. \ He has gorgeous soft, yet wirey hair, which has led us to believe that he is most likely an Australian Terrier cross.
Fletcher has a lovely, friendly nature and is very used to being handled (cuddled!) by humans, although he hasn't had a lot of experience with small children. Fletcher gets along well with his foster carers other small dogs and is fine with the household cat. He loves his food, but, just like his sister Ava, he loves LOVE more, and has been trained to sit on command without the need for treats...he just enjoys the reward of praise and cuddles!
Fletcher can be quite placid, and timid at times, but once he is used to his human, he loves nothing more than to please him or her. He adores attention, and will happily follow his chosen human around all day!
One of Fletcher's favourite activities is playtime with his sister Ava, who he absolutely adores. He also likes to chew on bones, bigger than himself! At night time Fletcher loves to cuddle on the couch, with either a human or Ava. During the night Fletcher sleeps well inside with Ava, and if he needs to do wees or poos and can't get outside, he is trained to use a puppy pad.
As he’s only a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to improve on his lovely manners. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, chicken necks and bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Fletcher very happy indeed! \
Fletcher would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time as he’s used to having company.
If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up spunky little Fletcher then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link or by copying and pasting it into your browser: http://www.sarg.net.au/adoptapet.html

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
