About Ava *On Trial in Her New Home*
*AVA IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES PLEASE* Adorable Ava is a healthy, happy puppy who was born on the 13th of July, this year. She has lovely soft, wirey hair, which has led us to believe that she is most likely an Australian Terrier cross.
Ava has a sweet, friendly nature and is very used to being handled (cuddled!) by humans, although she hasn't had a lot of experience with small children. Ava gets along well with her foster carers other small dogs and is fine with the household cat. She loves her food, but she loves LOVE more!! She has been trained to sit on command without the need for treats...she just really enjoys the reward of praise and cuddles! Being quite small, pretty little Ava can be a bit placid and timid at times, but she really comes out of her shell when she falls for a human! She will do anything to please one, and will follow him or her around just wanting to be a part of their day!
One of Ava's favourite activities is playtime with her brother Fletcher, who she absolutely adores. She also likes to chew on bones, bigger than herself! At night time Ava loves to cuddle on the couch, with either a human or Fletcher. During the night Ava sleeps well inside with Fletcher, and if she needs to do wees or poos and can't get out, she is trained to use a puppy pad.
As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to improve on her lovely manners. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, chicken necks and bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Ava very happy indeed! \
Ava would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she’s used to having company.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
