Pippa (On Trial 5/1/14)

Pippa is a beautiful young golden Cocker Spaniel x Poodle "Spoodle". At only 11months old, Pippa is still a pup. Pippa is housetrained and needs a home where she can be inside with the family and sleep inside. She is very cuddly and affectionate and bonds with her humans very closely. She loves to play and to go for walks. She is about the size of a cocker spaniel and covered in beautiful golden curls which will require regular grooming (brushing, bathing and professional clipping).

Pippa is looking for a special owner who can commit to ongoing training to build her confidence. She will require a home without cats, or children under 14. She is ok with living with one other dog her own size or larger. She is not friendly to dogs that she meets while she is on lead. But she is playful with other dogs that she meets off lead at Redhead Beach where she has plenty of room to run around and doesn't feel threatened. She wouldn't be suitable to a home where everyone goes off to work all day. She's not happy left home alone but is much better if she has another dog to keep her company.

Pippa is a lovely girl with great potential but needs gentle care and training. She will need to go to someone experienced with dogs and who will understand her quirks and be patient and commit to training.
