About Ky (On Trial 17/11/13)
Introducing Ky, a gorgeous 3 year old (DOB 21/10/10) purebred Golden Retriever.
Ky (pronounced Kia) has the most adorable nature; he loves to be adored and cuddled but is very calm and polite, he does not demand attention or jump up, he comes quietly up for a cuddle and loves to lay at your feet.
Ky has not had a lot of training in his life so he will need someone prepared to teach him to lead and work on coming when he is called, but this will not take long as he adores people.
Ky is a special dog who needs to be a true member of the family. One who comes inside and is a part of everyday life. He loves children and gets on beautifully with other dogs. In foster care he is taking turns sleeping on each member of the familys bed. Ky isn't suited to a home with cats.
Ky sheds a fair bit of his fine, long hair so needs a family who is ok with a bit of dog hair on your outfit and around the house, they need to be prepared to brush him daily and wash him regularly to keep him looking stunning.
This boy is delightful and deserves the most wonderful of homes. Please note that dogs like Ky are extremely popular and we will have many applications for him, please understand we will assess each application and choose the family that was made for him, rather than just the first good home that applies.
Along with his full pedigree and papers, Ky’s parent’s medical history; hip and elbow dysplasia testing, eye examination and cardiac testing have been provided.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
