About Missy (On Trial 13/12/13)
Are you home most of the time? Do you know of someone who is? We are seeking a kind, dedicated and caring person to adopt Missy, a 4 year- old Maltese x. Newcastle or Lake Macquarie, NSW area only.
Unfortunately, Missy's owner passed away and she was his life, and she lived for him, now she has had a hard time adjusting to life without him. Given the chance, Missy will be the most loyal and loving girl to her new owner that you could want.
Missy is great with other smaller dogs and cats and children but gets frightened by them if they get too loud so would be better suited to a home with older children or no children at all. Missy’s perfect home would be with someone who is home all of the time or only goes outs for a short time as she does get quite anxious when left alone, and if possible with another dog for company.
Missy is an indoor dog who loves to sleep on your bed at night and snuggle up close. Missy also likes to go for a walk a couple of times a week and loves to have a run off leash. If you can offer Missy the perfect home please call Eve on 0417 886 476 to find out more.
Missy's adoption fee is only $200 because of her special needs. This includes herdesexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
