About Molly (On Trial 3/12/13)
Hi I’m Molly a 1 year old Blue Cattle dog x Staffy, unfortunately my family could no longer care for me and surrendered me to Dog Rescue.
I’m an outgoing girl who love people especially children, I just need to learn that the little ones don’t like me jumping on them and that I need to contain this enthusiasm. I also appreciate and get on well with other dogs and cats. I enjoy playing tug o war and am learning to play fetch. Being with my family is very important to me and I tend to follow everyone around the house.
I am an inside/outside dog so respects being out in the yard when no one is home but likes to come and spend evenings with the family. Sleeping inside is the best however if I need to spend the night outside I will do so without complaint.
Currently I can sit when asked and I’m learning to stay/wait. With some encouragement I will learn that to sit on my mat and relax and just watch the going ons.
Treats are a great motivation for me so training me is a breeze. I am house trained and love to go for a walk/run and I am fantastic off lead. The beach is a lovely place to visit but I am not particularly keen on the water. Molly is very smart and needs stimulation so would probably better suited to a home which has other dogs.

Molly is in foster care in Mannering Park, NSW (south side of Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate.
Molly's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
