About Sienna (On Trial 20/11/13)
Sienna is a 7 year old Maltese x, she gets on well with big and small dogs and cats, and loves adults and older children but is nervous with small children.
Sienna loves to curl up in my lap or is quite happy lying on the floor at my feet, she is house trained and will go out the doggy door to do her business. She likes to go in the car and is very well behaved; she loves her food and is not fussy.
Recently, she has had an operation on her back knees so she is a bit slow getting around but is improving every day, with a daily gentle walk she will be as good as new in no time.
She must be allowed inside at night to sleep but will happily play outside during the day. Although Sienna is not a barker she will let you know when someone comes to the door, she is a sweet little girl who has lots of love to give and wants to be loved in return.
She would make a great companion for a family either as an only dog or with other dogs to play with, but would not be ideal with young children.

Sienna is in foster care in Cardiff, NSW (Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
