About Edna
My name is Edna.I am a gentle young girl who was surrendered to the RSPCA as my previous owner had too many cats. I am now looking for a quiet relaxed home to call my own! When I first came into the shelter I was fearful of people but within a few days came out of my shell and now love gentle interaction especially head rubs. My new owner should be patient with me and understand it might take a while for me to settle in to my new home. I should have a safe spot to call my own where I can go when I'm feeling unsure. Due to my quiet nature a household with no young kids would make me happiest.Since arriving in the shelter I have come out of my shell and shown a very playful and cheeky side. I love toys and interactive play but I may still be a little shy and weary at first in a new environment or around new people. I can get excited and be a little rough with play so all children must be supervised at all times around me.I came in with other cats and would suit a household with another social cat. I haven't been exposed to dogs but I'd probably be scared of them so I would not like to be rehomed with one. When I first arrived in the shelter I had some tartar build up on my teeth but after a quick scale and polish my teeth are back to tip top shape. My new owners should provide me with a quality diet to ensure my teeth stay in good health. Raw chicken necks and wings are also a great and efficient treat to help keep my dental care in check. I will need to be an indoor only cat in my new home as I would not fare well on the streets given my timid nature and my white coat makes me prone to skin cancers.*INDOOR ONLY*MATURE HOUSEHOLD*STV @ SALE RE;DENTAKL & HEART MURMUR
