About Toby (On Trial 12/1/14)
Hi my name is Toby; I am a 5 month old white large cross breed dog, I am a very unique puppy looking for that special person to adopt me.
I’m a very sweet and gentle puppy who is currently in foster care with an adult female bull arab whom I adore. I do all the usual puppy things like having lots of fun during play time, but will also happily sleep next to you on the lounge or at your feet for some down time. I am well socialised with other dogs and a bit with rabbits but will need further socialisation while growing up.
You may have noticed by my pictures, I’m a very special boy, I was born with a deformed front foot (which has been somewhat repaired) and so may experience some arthritis and limping as I get bigger and heavier. Please don't worry; it doesn't slow me down much! Also, being a white dog, I will need a lot of shade to lie in and/or sunscreen applied to prevent burns and skin cancer. My teeth have a slight under bite, which has not caused me any problems, but is something to be considered as I get my adult teeth.
I have started basic obedience training, and I know how to sit and come, and doing great with toilet and lead training. Recently, I visited the beach for the very first time & just loved it! We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training
My foster carer says I’m an absolute sweetheart and would love to help me find my forever home. I would be best suited to someone who can spend a lot of time with me, as I love people and love to play, or someone with another dog friend to spend time with.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
