Wags (adopted)

Wags, what a great name, don’t you think! I wags my tail and I wags my tongue, they just never stop after all I have my name to live up to. I am a 3 year old, male, mini foxy x chi. They say good things come in small packages, well that’s me; I am less than 40cm tall, long body, tail and neck and short legs. My coat is glossy, dense and short with classic colourings. I am a true gentleman with my fellow dog friends. My foster carer says I’m lovely guy, full of fun and personality.

I really do love life, and willing to do anything with you; hiking, skateboarding, running, you name it I’m there. When I am excited I can be a bit clumsy as my tiny legs just can’t keep up with the rest of me. Playtime is a very important thing to me as it helps with my energy levels, so would another dog as my companion, and heaps of toys, I can play with them for hours. I do not chew things that do not belong to me, with the exception of tissues that might be lying around. Other activities I enjoy are chasing balls, birds, and bugs as well as a game of tug “o” war; please do expect to win though I may be small but I am very strong. When I go for my walks you need to only give me a short lead as I can get into a bit of a tangle and trip over.

Currently I know how to sit on command, come when called, am toilet trained (haven’t had an accident inside yet), if I am asked to stop doing something I will, I can use a doggy door. There needs to be a little bit of work done on my jumping up for attention but I am easily trained just supply food. I do not bark at other dogs or anyone who comes to the front door

Speaking of food, I have a huge appetite and sometimes steal from my friends bowls, so I might need to be kept an eye on with that. I also love bananas they are a great treat.

I am extremely affectionate; I like a cuddle and kiss, to lie next to you on the
couch at night and chill out, I will bond with your and be a loyal friend to you, going wherever you go (including the bathroom or shower). Of a night I will sleep in a crate but I prefer to snuggle up next to you.
My ideal family is one that is active, will take me on car trips and that will make me part of their family.
