Jake

Jake is a ridgeback x. . He was adopted by us in june 2000. . He has been a wonderful. . Very loyal friend for us over the years. . He is a great companion for an adult or family with older children but does not like small children poking and annoying him. . Jake is still very active although likes nothing more than just being around people. . Jake has a very quirky personality. . He can be quite funny at times when he gets excited. . Extremely focused when it comes to his toys. . But also needs gentle loving as he has always been a little timid. . Storms and very loud sudden noises frighten jake. . He will want to be near you and feel safe if there is a storm around. The nature of eagerness to please makes jake very easy to train as he will be happy to co-operate with food or toy rewards. . He does have basic commands such as sit. . Shake. . Roll over etc and is very good on a lead. .
