About Vinny
Vinny was rescued from Campbelltown Pound after his owner did not claim him. When Vinny went into foster care he was very timid and shy but is now becoming more confident every day. It’s great to see his little tail wag as this is something he didn’t do when first placed in foster care. Vinny is a happy dog that is affectionate and with a great personality. We believe Vinny may not have had a lot of attention in his previous home and at times is a little possessive when he’s being held or sitting next to someone. However his foster carer and a behaviourist have been working with him with great results. Vinny has lots of energy and loves to go for a walk, especially in an off leash area where he’s happy to run around with the other dogs and come back when called. Vinny is living with other small dogs in his foster home and gets along well with them so it would be best if he’s rehomed with another dog. Vinny had to be shaved back when he was rescued as his coat was badly matted but now that it’s growing he’ll need regular brushing and grooming to keep him feeling and looking great. The best home for Vinny will be with a family who have older children, or a retired or working couple. Vinny will make a wonderful companion as he is a real little character and a house dog who loves his creature comforts.
