About Chance
Hi there – I’m Chance. Would you believe it, I just found out I’m not actually a dog. Life is full of surprises. I love being with my people, following them around the house. I also eat like a dog – you won’t have to worry about fussy eating habits with me. Oh, and if you call for me, I’ll come every time. Just because I adore your company.
I’m big, friendly, extremely confident, inquisitive, affectionate and I ‘trill’ when I’m excited.
I’m an adaptable boy, relaxed in new environments, happily walking around exploring, with my tail held high. My foster carer calls me Marlon Brando, as I walk with a confident swagger.
My favourite thing? Lying on my back on top of someone who's vegging out watching TV, fully stretched out, and having my tummy stroked, from my head to my toes. I'm in 7th heaven.
My second favourite thing? Food.
I'm quite dominant towards other animals, even dogs, and am seeking a home where I can be an only pampered puss.
I'm happy walking on a harness and lead, so I can have outside time safely.
If you don’t mind me saying so, I’m a very handsome boy. My coat is dark grey and white, silky and shiny. I have an unusual white/light grey undercoat, making me look like I'm covered in velour.
I was given a second chance at life, after I ran out of time at the pound, and I’m looking forward to my third chance – to be adopted by you!
(Thank you to http://wendyclayton.com.au/ for your beautiful photos of me. I was completely relaxed in your studio).
Chance has his own fan club:
"I looked after this lovely boy when he was at our Cattery [after leaving the pound and waiting for a foster carer]. What a great boy he is. When I took him to the vets for his neutering, they also commented on what a great cat he is. Whoever gets him gets a great cat. Please adopt."
"Beautiful boy....I have met him and he is soooooo affectionate......." From his chauffeur, who drove him from the country cattery to his Melbourne foster home.
Medical notes
Happy, healthy boy.
