About Mator (On Trial 19/11/13 -2nd trial)
My name is Mator but I answer to Roly. I'm a male, 2 year old Shar Pei x Labrador. As you can see I am a big boy with wrinkly skin, which is my breed. I have beautiful loving blue eyes and light tan in colour. Quite distinguished looking I believe.
I am a very loyal breed who bonds well with a family, especially one with kids; I love them! Although I am quiet in nature and really not interested in any naughty stuff like fence jumping I would need a family that was confident with larger breeds as I could be a bit confident if you are uncertain or inconsistent with me.
The Shar Pei part of me means I’m clean, easy going, calm, and independent and extremely devoted to my family; my lab traits make me a dependable good natured dog. I have the best of both breeds being, intelligent, playful and active; making me a perfect pet.
I need your help. I am in need of a new home due to a change in my family circumstances, this is through no fault of mine but it means I can no longer stay where I am.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
