Alfie (On Trial 4/1/14)

Hello, my name is Alfie, I am a 5 month old red cattle x puppy. My manners are impeccable, I just want to please you and make you happy! As of today I am currently searching for my forever home and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life being your best friend.

I LOVE playing with my toys; I even play with them by myself, however I will not complain about a good game of fetch! \ Best of all though is spending time with my humans, I love being by your side and snuggling up to watch TV with you.

Going for walks is the best, though I do tend to get a bit excited and pull at the start of the walk. Car rides are a bit scary and make me feel a little sick, but I am getting more used to them now. I am mostly housetrained but sometimes when I don’t get let outside often enough I just can’t hold it any longer, I know it’s naughty, but I try to be good, I just need your help!

Being a puppy, I can be a little cheeky, but my foster mummy says that I am a good boy most of the time. When I get a bit excited I do jump a little bit, I am learning that this is naughty, it’s just hard when I get sooooo excited to see you!! Because of this I would be best in a home without small children.

I am told that I am a very smart boy because I have already learnt how to sit and lie down, and I am also starting to get the hang of ‘roll over’, ‘on your bed’, and ‘stay’. I love my treats and love receiving your praise, so I am happy to learn any tricks you want to teach me!

My foster home has two other dogs and I love playing with them! I would enjoy having a doggy friend in my forever home but I wouldn’t mind being an only dog as long as you are home most of the time.

My forever home would have to be one where I am allowed inside each day to enjoy some quality time with my family and I would love you to call my foster mummy to find out more about me as I can’t wait to meet you! I hope you give me a chance and give me my forever home; I can assure you I am worth it.
