Benson

Benson is a lovely small size, low-shedding teddy bear of a dog. He is a 3 year old and a lively independent spirit.

Although quite able to entertain himself he does need to be kept engaged and active with a good bout of exercise at least once a day. This spunky fellow loves a walk/run, and will splash and swim in any available water. He has been learning how to play fetch. He has a cheeky side and does love a game of chase.

Benson would be fine with strong willed cat/s. He is easily socialized, good with other dogs and ducks! This young man is of robust build and quite sturdy, with a playful character, making a great dog for kids. His coat is easily groomed with a clip and a regular brush. Other than a bit of a eye wipe each day, he is a very low maintenance dog, responding well to basic commands and eager to learn.

He is familiar with being on lead in both harness and collar. He is a protective little fellow, with the heart of a lion and solid bark for a small dog. He has learnt to enjoy a good tummy tickle or scratch under his chin. He loves a ride in the car and is quite a good traveler. He has been successful with toilet training in a house with a doggy door. Benson would be a fantastic addition to any family!
