About Hobbes
Hobbes is a lovely little boy who does not act his age as he denies being over six and likes to play and bounce around with you before falling asleep at your feet. Hobbes came into care with Calvin and they are good friends but not related in any way. In their former life they must have been well cared for and do not have the issues that some of our neglected dogs have. They are not skinny or matted and have settled in to the foster carer's home with no trouble. Hobbes is very sweet but was a bit timid to start with and took a couple of days to trust his carer but is now a very pleasant companion. He loves going for a walk and enjoys his food despite having quite a few teeth removed so manages well without them. Hobbes may like another small female dog for companionship but would be quite happy as an only dog, perhaps in a home where there is someone around most of the time. He is housetrained and sleeps quietly on a rug near you but finds it hard to jump up as he is quite small. Hobbes has a coat that will need regular grooming and clipping.
