About Bella (2) (On Trial 4/11/13)
Bella is a darling, 7 yr old, female Maltese. She would love to be someone's treasured princess and in return will adore you forever. She enjoys cuddles and likes to rest her head on your lap when sitting beside you. She is a very quite girl, not a barker at all. She is housetrained and not a fussy eater.
Bella is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home (and ideally safe inside when people are not home), and to sleep inside. She has a beautiful, soft white coat which doesn't shed so she which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.
Bella adores people. She would be very happy as an only dog. She's choosy about her doggy friends so if you have another dog they would have to meet first to see if they get along. Bella wouldn't enjoy a busy household with small children so she would be best in a home with no children or with children over 10 years old.
Bella has been vet checked and is healthy and happy and eager to begin the second half of her life in a brand new home.
For more information or to meet Bella please phone foster carer Debbie on 02 4945 8756 or email smilingspider@vtel.com.au . Bella is in foster care in Belmont, NSW 2280 (near Charlestown in Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate.
Bella's $300 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
