Saffie (On Trial 30/1/14)

If you want a friendly dog that really welcomes you when you come home and follows you around without getting in the way, then Saffie could be the dog for you. Saffie is an 9yo female, Fox Terrier. From the moment Saffie arrived she wagged her tail, smiled and settled down. Shortly after arriving she greeted my granddaughter (5 years old) and grandson(9) and was happy to sit on their laps, be cuddled by them and showed a great liking for children. She is happy to sit on the lounge next to me and my dog.

Saffie:
- gets on well with other dogs, particularly ones of her size.
- barks a little with excitement when you come home, otherwise rarely.
- is a little nervous, particularly if there is thunder.
- walks well on a lead and enjoys exercise and meeting other dogs.
- is happy to travel in the car.
- is happy to stay spend time outside but is an inside dog and must to be inside at night.
- is toilet trained.
- would be suited to all ages as she is excellent with children and is docile enough to live a life of leisure.
Saffie is brilliant with people. When walking on the lead on her morning walks, she is happy to talk to people and dogs. She goes up to people and is really friendly. Saffie is happy to be picked up, cuddled and loved. She has a lovely nature that would make her a wonderful family pet or a special friend for an older person.
Saffie bonds very strongly with her special person and panics when left home alone, so she must go to a home where someone is home most of the time and where there is another dog to keep her company. She will be your most adoring and loyal friend.
