About Cleo (On Trial 13/12/13)
Sweet little Cleo is a 12 month old hairless Chinese Crested x Chihuahua who is looking for a family to adore. Though at times a little timid, she is a charming, agile and lovable girl who is playful and entertaining with children. She is a dog that adores her family and enjoys an affectionate nuzzle under your neck or to curl on a friendly lap.
At the moment Cleo has 3 other small dogs to run around with and is having the time of her life, she is the most popular out of the bunch and is happy playing half the day. Going for a walk is a real treat and loves to run around off the lead in a protected area. \ She needs a home where she can spend of lot of time with her family or she has the company of a dog of similar temperament. This will keep her the happy playful little dog she is.
At the moment Cleo can be a little wary of some men; she is selective as to who she lets pat her, some men she is happy to sit on their lap and have a game, while with others she just stays away from. \ It is the opposite with women; she loves them all!
Cleo is quite happy spending a good part of her day sitting outside, both in and out of the sun. \ This is any area where a bit of attention is needed, like humans, hairless dogs can burn on very hot days, so a t-shirt and little sunscreen can prevent problems, or better still, a nice sheltered area in the shade works wonders. \ One thing Cleo does dislike is cold weather. We have two jackets of different thickness to keep her warm, she loves getting them on, she’s seems to think it’s a real treat. This means Cleo needs to sleep inside to keep her away from the extremes of weather.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
