About Elly (On Trial 5/2/14)(Returned 28/3/15)
Elly is a Kelpie X Blue Cattle dog 5 years old. She is quite small for her breed, very fit and energetic and loves to play, play, play with my children or anyone else who will throw a ball for her. Even the youngest child, 16 months, throws a ball or toy for her and squeals with laughter when Elly catches it in her mouth!
This beautiful girl needs kids to play with all day, a ball or squeaky toy to play fetch, a nice grassy backyard and 6ft fences. In return she will follow you everywhere, give you sloppy kisses and be your friend for life!
Elly loves going to the park or the beach as long as you bring a ball or two so she can run free and play fetch. She always brings the ball back!
She has a beautiful soft coat which I brush regularly to keep her beautiful and surprisingly she DOES NOT have a doggie smell in fact she has no odour at all.
Ell-Jay will SIT and DROP on command and wait for her food. She really is a fantastic dog who is just waiting for her perfect family maybe it's YOU?

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
