About Ernie
Ernie is a lovely little man who is somewhere between 1 and 2 who was rescued from a hoarder situation along with many others. When we took these dogs into our care they had never been outside or met strangers so they were all very shy. Over the past so many months Ernie has gone from strength to strength and has learned to do all the doggie things like walking on a lead. He still gets anxious at times, which is understandable given his history. He is good with other dogs and has been living with a female lab. He is also fine with cats but at times does get the urge to bark or chase them. Ernie would suit a home where he has either human or doggie company during the day as I think by himself he would suffer from separation anxiety. He has had very basic training and im sure would be willing to learn more doggie things.
Adoption details
After seeing an animal you are interested in we ask you to fill out an adoption expression of interest form which tells us a bit about you, your lifestyle and any previous pets. A meet and greet is then organised for you to meet your prospective new furry friend and if all goes ok, you are then able to adopt your new furry housemate.
