About Harry *On Trial in His New Home*
*HARRY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES PLEASE* This long legged lad is Harry and he’s looking for a forever home where he’ll get loads of love and attention as well as some training as being a Miniature Poodle cross he’s intelligent and enjoys learning new things, so will it be with you?
Recently surrendered to SARG due to a change in his owners circumstances Harry has settled in well into foster care where he’s enjoying life with his carers own large breed dogs; Tash an 11 year old German Shepherd and Xena a not quite 12 month old German Shepherd – he was a bit scared of them at first but once he realised they were not going to eat him all was fine, though he does have a special “Harry escape route” which his carer put in especially for him to use when Miss Xena gets too playful and he’s had enough! There’s no squabbling over treats or bones and they’re happy to eat from each other’s bowls and they all curl up together to sleep at night. He’s a happy, healthy, energetic little dog whose whole body wiggles when he’s excited which is fairly often as Harry loves life! \ We don’t think Harry has had much training though this clever boy is quickly picking up “sit” and is learning to walk on a lead and enjoys getting out and about. He is still quite puppyish and can be a bit mouthey when he plays (a firm “no” is helping with this) so we wouldn’t recommend Harry to a home with young children. He’s not bothered by the household cat and isn’t a yapper which is a bonus

Spunky little Harry is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up his energy. Being a Poodle x he doesn’t shed hair though he’ll require a good brush once a week and a clip a few times a year to keep his coat in tip-top condition. Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew, toys to play with and lots of love will make Harry very happy indeed! Harry would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with another fun-loving dog to play with or on his own but only if he won’t be left for long periods of time as Poodle’s thrive on companionship and don’t fare well without it. He may need some help with his housetraining when he first arrives in his forever home but once he knows the household routine he’ll be fine – he used to sleep inside in his previous home.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
