Ty (On Trial 17/11/13)

Ty is an 11 month old, medium sized mixed breed, who just adores the company of people, including children. He's a happy, healthy, affectionate dog and fun to have around. We have started to give him some training that will assist in making him a nice family dog. These include walking on a lead, sitting, and waiting. He needs some practice with coming back when called. Sometimes he gets a little excitable like a puppy. Meaning he likes to chew and will jump up. So he needs to provided with toys and bones that he's allowed to chew, and have good fences. He would be a good dog to take to training classes. Ty is housetrained. When he needs to go to the toilet he will get your attention to let him out.

Ty is happy to sleep indoors, or in good weather he can sleep outside, so long as he has a cosy kennel under shelter. He loves people and will need to be allowed inside each day and be included in family activities such as hanging around watching TV or going to the park or beach.

He is an active young dog so he needs to go for a walk in the morning and afternoon to help burn up some energy. A game of fetch, playtime and training also help wear him out.

Ty’s ideal family would be one where he will get daily exercise, be allowed inside, and if there are children they should be over around 7 years old. He will give you everything he's got in return.
