Milly (On Trial 9/1/14)

How's it going, I'm Milly and I'm a friendly Kelpie x. They say I'm 10 years old but I say age is just a number and your only as young as you feel, I can keep pace with my 3 year old kelpie foster brother so I'm feeling pretty good.
I'm getting on well with my foster siblings; however they are still young and can be quite boisterous, so I let them know when I'm not in the mood for playing.

Nothing better than going for long runs and walk and breathing in all the fresh air, I think the key to staying young is to keep active and fit. I walk well on the lead mostly, I pull a bit at first – but I'm just eager to set off. I understand the command for sit, and I'm patient as I wait for my dinner. I still get a little bit confused with my toilet training but in my defence my foster mum’s rug looks a lot like grass.

At night I sleep in the laundry with my foster siblings, we have access to go outside. To be honest I don't mind sleeping outside, I just like to have somewhere comfy to lie.

When I'm inside, I will roll over and wait for you to scratch my belly. I love to sit on the couch but my foster mum keeps telling me to get down.

What I'm looking for in my perfect home? It would have to be with anyone who is willing to love me unconditionally and make me apart of their family. I don't mind children and other dogs but would prefer calm and mature dogs similar to me; the young ones just get a bit too rowdy. I would like to have a secure yard with shelter and to be taken on daily walks. I'm ready for the easy life.
