About Grace (On Trial 9/11/13)
ON TRIAL 9/11/13: Thanks for looking at my profile. My name is Grace and I’m a 9 Month old Kelpie x Shepherd, who just adores the company of people and other animals; I am particularly good around children. My carer says that I have a beautiful nature and am an extremely loyal companion to the family.
I have started to learn some behaviours that will assist in making me a better dog when I grow up, these behaviours include walking on a lead, sitting, waiting, and also I am beginning to learn to drop. When I need to go to the toilet I will get your attention to let me out as I am toilet trained.
Remembering I am still a puppy, I do get excited if we have been apart for a while and jump up at these times; however I am learning not do this as much. My activity level is high and therefore I would need to be walked at least once every day to help burn up some of my energy.
I just love to snuggle up to blankets, chairs and pillows, anything soft really, including my human family.
My perfect family would be one that has both children of any age and animals to play with me and keep me company, as well as smother me with lots of cuddles and affection.

We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
