Shelby (On Trial)

***on trial***this beautifully natured man is regretfully having to be rehomed due to his owner moving overseas. Shelby has many character traits of a typical beagle! he has a wonderfully warm, gentle character with an element of cheekiness that often gets him (or his nose) into mischief! shelby is an extremely friendly, sociable dog who is excellent with children and socialises very well with other dogs. Shelby always offers a happy smiling face when you return home form being out, he just loves company. He lives for his daily walk around the local parks and shelby is often let off lead and generally comes back when called (anything for a treat!). Because of daily routine walk, shelby has never been a digger and doesn't try to escape, unless the front door is left open, when his nose will typically lead him to visit the neighbours. A recent favourite while on holidays, was to scour the shores of phillip island beach, often runinng into the water with the other dogs. Shelby is great in the car and just loves the idea of going places, sniffing all of the new smells! as a life member of adt (australian dog training) shelby has basic obedience training and shows promise of great things if his new family continues this training. He loves nothing more than a great feed of his favourite food roast chicken, then to snuggle up on a warm comfortable mat (preferably on the couch) for the evening. Often found curled up in blankets in spare bedrooms, he can be a little cheeky if left to his own devices, but definately knows right from wrong. Helby's health is excellent, with his vaccinations, worming and flea treatments always kept up to date. He is desexed, microchipped and tatooed. Not really an outside sleeper, he tends to wind up shivering when left out overnight, prefers to curl up on a warm mat in the laundry or better yet, share the bed with his owner!
