About Axle
Meet Axle a much loved family member whose owners recently parted company and now Axle has to find himself another home.
Axle is a good looking male German Shepherd who is mature aged and in need of a confident owner who will ensure he has a daily walk and has the patience to commit to a rescue dog. Having lived with the one family all his life Axle is going to take time to settle into his new home. So we are looking for a patient and kind person who will understand that Axle will need time to come to grips with his new home and human pack.
Axle is currently located at Edgeworth in Newcastle but soon will have to be relocated to Sydney to find his forever home. He loves to play ball and enjoys his splashing in the sand clam pool that is set up for him. So knowing this I am sure he would love to play on the beach.
Axle has lived with a small foxie dog but we would suggest he goes to a home with no small pocket animals or cats. Preferably Axle would best suit a mature aged couple with no other animals. Axle is a wonderful dog who would protect you with his life.

Adoption details
We have an Adoption Manager - Linda who screens all prospective candidates and she can be contacted on 0407 453 005.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
