About Vivienne
Vivienne is a stunning, sweet girl who I can't take anywhere without people commenting on how beautiful she is or how she resembles a fox or deer fawn. She is beautiful inside and out but had a rough start to life which has made her timid around new people.
However, in the last few months as her foster Mum I have had the pleasure of seeing her steadily blossom into her true charismatic self once she realised there was nothing to be afraid of in my company. In many ways Vivienne is a late bloomer and is only just learning to be a dog, let alone a puppy. Currently she is learning that play biting is not ok and her recall is rapidly improving.
Vivi needs someone who understands the commitment and importance of continuing her training with consistence and kindness. Because of her past she will not respond well to anything other than positive reinforcement. She is unsure of new people touching her so her new family will need to be patient and not force her until the time and treats have gained her trust. But once she trusts you and looks at you with those beautiful eyes you will know unconditional love.
She is a very good girl on the lead and is happiest by your side...she needs at least one daily walk/run to release that puppy energy and to stimulate her mind. She is currently an indoor/outdoor dog in a home with a cat and has to go to a home with a well sized, very secure garden. Vivienne LOVES water, whether it is running under the hose 'catching' the water, playing in a puddle, or swimming. She also loves a game of fetch, playing with her toys, and absolutely adores all animals she comes in to contact with: horses, sheep, cats, and especially dogs -you name it she loves it and is very submissive...
although her Kelpie side does shine when it comes to chasing birds!
Vivienne has discovered the joy of treats and being highly intelligent, when relaxed she is a very fast learner. She will sit, stay, wait for her food on command, is a very good girl in the car, as well as for brushing and bathing.
Vivienne would be best suited in a household of a single person or couple without children, and has to be in a home with another dog. She needs a loving, patient and nurturing person to continue her growth into a happy, well rounded pup. Your love and care will be paid back in dividends with a loyal and loving best friend for life. Once she has attached herself to you she will always be near you, 'helping' in the garden, not very subtly asking you to rub her belly once she knows you, or poking her little nose into your face to lick you.
