About Baxter
Baxter is a beautiful, quiet, loving Kelpie pup. He was surrendered by someone who had been given him and he could not keep him as he already had two adult dogs to look after. The person would have loved to keep him but knew that it would not be fair on Baxter if he did. He would suite a family with a good sized back yard and interested in taking him to training. He is a little shy of people but is happy just to sit with you and admire the view. He is a beautiful gentle soul.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
