ABOUT Hamish & Dougal

Hamish and Dougal are lovely dogs. As brothers who have lived together since birth, they are completely bonded and would do best to be adopted as a pair.

Hamish is an intelligent dog with a lovely nature. He loves lazing in the sun, being walked, and sitting on people's laps. He's more person than dog - he's not into fetch, but he loves being around people.

Dougal looks up to his brother in everything he does, and is the more typical dog of the pair. He loves walking, playing fetch, and will aim to please in every way he can.

Both are fine outdoors, though do enjoy being invited inside if people are home for pats. Hamish and Dougal are good little guard dogs; despite their size they are eager to feel like they are protecting you. If someone's at the door you'll know about it, however, they don't just bark for the sake of it. Similarly they will bark at other, unfamiliar dogs. That said, they are adaptable to living with another dog is necessary - they are currently living with a greyhound.
