Sonny and Lulu (On Trial 25/1/14)

Sonny and Lulu are a pair of Maltese x Shih Tzu's. Sonny is a 7 year old male and LuLu is a 9 year old female. They are quiet dogs (not barkers). They're friendly and gentle with children and enjoy cuddles and lap time. They are still have a lot of years to enjoy with the lucky person or family who adopt them.

Sonny has a cheeky side to him. He loves kids and will follow them everywhere they go. He lost one of his back legs recently but this has not stopped him and he is very quick on the 3 he still has! Lulu just loves to have cuddles. She has some age related loss of vision but can still see well enough to get around fine.

Sonny and Lulu enjoy going inside and outside during the day but they need to be inside after dark and to sleep inside. They are housetrained. They walk well on a lead. They're not really good with cats, chickens, or other dogs.

Maltese x Shih Tzus don't shed so they need regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep them comfortable and beautiful. Maltese x Shih Tzus are a very affectionate and cuddly breed. Their sole purpose in life is to love their owners.

Sonny and Lulu were surrendered by their former owner who could no longer look after them. They are lifelong companions and need to stay together. They are looking for a warm and friendly home where they can share a happy life with each other and especially to devote themselves to their new people.
