About Penny
Pretty Penny... she obviously has had a sad start to life. When she came into care she was so timid that it took her carer a day to get near her. Since then, all smiles and she’s gone ahead in leaps and bounds!!! She’s been in foster care with two other dogs and two cats and has been a gentle kind addition to the household, not putting a foot wrong! She plays beautifully with the other dogs and loves a good wrestle. With the cats, no trouble at all and is hardly interested in them . At night she happily lies next to them and has a nap.
Penny knows basic commands such as come, sit, drop and stay, and with gentle training will be an excellent dog. As she’s still gaining confidence, she only needs a less than gentle word and she’ll do whatever you want her to do! She’s such a sweet, kind girl and needs a peaceful home where she can continue to grow.
Penny loves a car ride and doesn’t ever make a peep! She loves an off-leash outing to a dog park or the beach where she plays happily with others but always stays near her foster mum... such a darling. Loud noises or angry voices would scare her, but kindness and encouragement would keep her on her happy path. She is truly the perfect dog and would fit in anywhere as long as she was loved a lot!!!
Medical notes
Penny has been desexed, vaccinated and micro chipped. She is up to date with flea and worm control
