About Blossom *On Trial in Her New Home*
*BLOSSOM IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES PLEASE* Looking for a lovely little lapdog who is described by her foster carer as “perfect” then you can’t go past sweet Blossom!!
Surrendered to our local pound as her owner had too many dogs (she was one of nine!), Blossom has settled into foster care where she’s enjoying being pampered and spoilt by her carers teenage daughters. She is fine with the family’s two male dogs and is now enjoying a play with a silly, young Dachshund cross who she’s sharing her foster home with. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people and gets the ‘shaky shivers’ at first, which we believe is a Chihuahua trait, though she soon warms up and loves to be held and cuddled. Blossom is affectionate and likes giving you kisses – she’s not at all in your face and her carer is yet to hear her bark. \ She is such a tiny, delicate dog with her neat teensy paws, you can’t help but be gentle with her, so a home without children or with older quieter ones would suit her best. Little Blossom is starting to play with toys and we don’t think she’s ever been on a lead so will need some practice with this. She travels well in a car, although living in Mildura she hasn’t been far, and weighing in at only 3.7kgs she’s a terrific “take-anywhere” size.
Please enjoy some video of Blossom: http://youtu.be/MgWkXs2jdUM
Adorable Blossom is quite low maintenance only requiring a short walk or run around the backyard to use up her energy and she doesn’t mind the occasional bath. As she is already toilet-trained and sleeps inside at night she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either another little doggie companion or on her own so long as she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she’s used to having company – she lived with 8 other little dogs in her previous life.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
